Secure Data Destruction Services

The Millennium Group’s Secure Data Destruction Services adheres to strict environmental and data privacy regulations to provide scheduled and secure, total, physical destruction of electronic data storage devices and tape media storage devices.

The Millennium Group defines universal waste as hard drives, data storage devices and IT electronic assets. Universal waste must be processed at a licensed Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) Universal Waste Recycling Facility. Our Secure Data Destruction Services program is compliance driven and abides by the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s (NIST) Security Division Publication 800-88 Guidelines for Media Sanitization. Our program has a National Association for Information Destruction AAA certification for plant based hard drive destruction. All data storage devices, hard drives and electronics are 100% recycled. Other recyclables include printers, computers, monitors and PDAs.
