Parcel Bombing in Rome The bubble-wrapped parcel bomb detonated at offices belonging to the tax-collecting organization Equitalia in Via Andrea Millevoi, in the center of Rome, Italy. According to paramedics, the branch manager Marco Cuccagna lost a finger and suffered eye trauma. He was taken to Rome’s Sant’Eugenio hospital.
 
The parcel bomb was part of a regular mail delivery Sky Italia TG24 reported.
 
Investigators in Rome are treating the parcel bombing attack as an act of terrorism.
 
On Thursday, an Italian group claimed responsibility for a similar, fully functional letter bomb sent to the CEO of Deutsche Bank in Frankfurt, Germany. The Italian anarchist group Federazione Anarchia informale (FAI) hinted towards two more explosive packages still out there in a letter claiming responsibility.
